For Sale: 1955 Chevrolet 3100 in Lebanon, Missouri for sale in Lebanon, MO

Vehicle Description The 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Task Force design, introduced in March of 1955, was a radical departure from the previous Advance Design series truck introduced for the 1947 model year that continued through the mid-50's.
The angular lines of the new model moved away from the established rounded style Chevrolet truck owners had become used to and ushered in a new era in light-duty trucks.
Chevrolet also introduced a new body design for their passenger cars in that same year, so pretty much everything under the Chevy umbrella was a fresh look for the public.
While the basic car design lasted through the 1957 model year, the truck design continued through the 1959 model year.
This 1955 Chevy 3100 is one of those late (second) series trucks that has been treated to a street rod build recently.
We acquired this vehicle from a Texas collector about a year ago and has been driven very little since.
It has been stored in a humidity-controlled environment under the present ownership.
Finished in a vibrant yellow, this is a truck you that commands attention no matter if it is parked in a crowded lot or driving down the street.
The truck's body is straight, with a few minor paint imperfections one would expect from a vehicle that was built to drive and enjoy.
Power comes from a late-model Chevy small block engine topped with an Edelbrock carb and upgraded with modern accessories transferred through a floor-shifted automatic transmission.
The street rod motif continues with Dakota digital gauges keeping track of all the important engine functions while keeping the truck's original look.
A later-model tilt steering column allows for additional driver comfort and the replacement seats done in brown vinyl provide a comfortable ride.
An aftermarket air conditioning system keeps things cool for summertime cruises.
The stepside bed is correct for the truck, and the wooden floor appears to be in good condition and presents well.
In a move for enhanced safety, the fuel tank has been removed from the back of the truck cab (although the filler tube remains for a stock appearance) and has been relocated to a frame mounted unit that fills through the bed floor.
The front end features five-lug wheels and disc brakes to assist in stopping the truck.
The rear wheels are six lugs that match the appearance of the fronts and utilize drum brakes.

NOTICE Because of the number of vehicles we represent we cannot drive every vehicle for long distances.
These vehicles have been part of static displays for long periods of time, in some cases for decades, and are subject to the flaws and imperfections consistent with that.
While we do our best to disclose all issues we known about a vehicle in our advertising, these are old cars and something that has always worked in the past might not function properly today.
Please check the requirements of your state regarding the licensing and registration of classic vehicles and make sure the vehicle you are looking at meets those if applicable.
Unless otherwise noted, all vehicles represented by Evergreen Digital Showroom possess a clean (non-branded) title which will be provided the new buyer when purchase funds clear our financial institution.
Virtually all our vehicles are sold as mileage exempt due to their age.
We do not warranty any vehicle, nor any part of the vehicle including air conditioning systems, brake systems, electrical systems and gauges, fuel systems, accessories or powertrain components.
These are old vehicles and it is very common for them to require certain maintenance and upkeep for them to be operational.
In many cases issues with leaks may develop when being driven after a long period of not being used.
This is common, as classic cars at some point will leak fluids.
For this reason, we do not encourage buyers to attempt driving their purchase home as we cannot guarantee functional reliability of these vehicles.
We strongly encourage prospective buyers to be sure they are comfortable with these issues before purchasing a classic car.
Descriptions of vehicles represented by Evergreen Digital Showroom are intended to be informational in nature and do not in any way constitute any sort of warranty, expressed or implied.
Again, these vehicles are presented as-is, where-is without guarantee or warranty.
Vehicles manufactured prior to 1981 will likely not be included in the databases of companies such as CarFax and AutoCheck that provide vehicle history information to consumers.
