Our client is a leading Missouri-based boat manufacturer currently seeking a Sr. Technical Engineer. This individual will develop recreational marine products for fabrication in composites, aluminum & roto-molded thermoplastic, with a focus on research, advanced concept development & interpretation, prototype development, tooling design, tooling fabrication,& integration with manufacturing.
Note: Marine industry exp is NOT required. Interest in RECREATIONALBOATING is welcome!
Accountabilities will be to:
Apply sound concepts of product design, engineering, naval architecture & quality management to define, develop & integrate state of the art marine product & manufacturing methodology into high production manufacturing facilities, company-wide.
Support new product development & engineering for several brands of power boat products.
Characterize & qualify new, advanced manufacturing materials: coatings, resins, reinforcements, composite sheet, thermoformed sheet, adhesives, fasteners, molding, blanking, forming, fastening, CNC & robotics and/or any other material or processes that may apply in boat & parts production.
Maximize quality, efficient, space requirements, materials & labor usage & yield.
Requirements for this role include:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial Chemical, Marine or Naval Architecture or related relevant degree is required.
10
years exp in research, advanced concept creation & design, engineering, manufacturing & marketing of marine, aerospace, OR consumer products, with proven, quantifiable results.
Experience functioning in the corporate environment for new product development, engineering & manufacturing
Proactive in identifying , owning & solving problems; flexibility in the face of shifting priorities, & ability to work collaboratively in a team environment & mentor less experience colleagues.
Background using CATIA CAD systems is helpful

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
